Our mission at Audition Online is to connect entertainers with clients and to help launch musical and other entertainment careers for the talented multitude.

Your Audition Online is a family/friend owned business. Created in the Black Hills of South Dakota in 2017, the idea originated in the mind of Dave Robeson more than 30 years earlier. Dave attended college in Fresno, CA during the 1980’s and earned a degree in computer science and design. However, his employment in the field of sales management was far more promising at the time and he never used this degree.

Kirsten Robeson was a stay at home mom for many years and graduated from college a week before she turned 40, she then pursued a career in education. After several years of teaching, she left the classroom to spend more time with her husband and partner, Dave.

Walelign Messele (Wale) rounds out and balances our team. Wale is originally from Ethiopia and is currently completing his doctorate at School of Mines in Rapid City, South Dakota. He’s the technical brains in the operation. It is our hope that when he completes his doctorate he will decide to stay here.

When Dave and Kirsten started planning their wedding in 2004 they had a hard time finding a band for their wedding. They both thought back to other events in their lives and those of their friends when it was difficult to find entertainment for graduations, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, even quinceneras and Dave shared his idea with her.

At the time they weren’t able to do much more than conceptualize, but the times and technologies have changes. Our goal at Your Audition Online is to bring quality live entertainment to your next event, or if you’re an entertainer, to help you get discovered by people in your area or around the country looking for talent.
